North Kelsey/Sc-u-nthorpe - roads???
« on: January 07, 2010, 06:15:00 pm »
Sorry if this is not Window Cleaning but it's certainly topical  ;)

I should be heading for North Lincolnshire (North Kelsy and Scnthorpe to be exact) in the morning for my grandson's 18th Birthday.  I'm getting mixed reports about the road conditions.

Anyone in the area able to give me their honest opinion before I drive up from Kent.

We've had a fair bit of snow down here and very low temperatures but things are still moving  - just wondered how it is further afield.  Don't like letting him down but have to consider safety first.

Should have said Sc-u-nthorpe - have edited it twice - looks correct on preview but still insists on saying Sidiothorpe.  just realised that there's a banned word hidden in the name of THAT town    ;D

Thanks Eclipse

Will make a final decision then first thing tomorrow - heavy snow forecast for around 5am across Kent/Essex which is where I'll be heading into.

Cheers
