i think a lot depends on your area and water quality.

I personally have used all three brands on the market and have found dowex to be the best for me

lots of people will have their own opinions on this

I've found it to be variable whichever one you use. I wonder do they have good batches and bad batches or does it go past its sell by date?

i also think tulsion. however if you can get your tds after the ro to say 5 or less sometimes ours is 2ppm you dont need resin at all, especially in the winter.
The best way to predict the future is to create it.

to be honest Lee i think your onto it there. I didn't realize that my RO had climbed to 65 for about a week or so and it shot my resin to pieces. and the di was reducing to around 14ppm

Once i got the RO reduced to about 9ppm we just used that for about 3 days until my resin came back in. so for a matter of about 8 working days we used water at that level. we never had one complaint and from the cleans i went to look at the results were fine.
