hi ya mate,

i asked the other day about diy set up help for my van, i see you have the same van so thought you may be able to help me out mate.

i bought a fixing kit from cleaning spot - its two metre lengths of steel angles with straps and bolts but when i took it to a local garage i was told it wouldnt work cuz of the fuel tank running under the drivers side!

any advice please? pic would be great.

my belt snapped in the first week of me buying it!

oh soz when i said problem with fuel tank i mean as in trying to fit wfp tank.

i bought a fitting kit from cleaningspot - its two steel brackects with four bolts and heavy duty straps - but when i took it to the garage to fit for me (as im not too happy with drilling through the floor of my van for the bolts) they said it may be hard/not possible to use this bit of kit as the fuel tank covers the whole drivers side so there would be no room for the bolts on the one side!

i,m sure theres a way around this, maybe drop the fuel tank down fit straps then refit fuel tank.

or drop the fuel tank down and if theres not enough room behind modify the one end then weld it to the floor using the other end to tighten the straps.

i,m sure one of these will work..

sorry i took so long to reply
i use to work in a fabrication shop   so i just drilled holes in the steel angles and used SELF DRILLING SCREWS to hold it  they barely pierce the bottom of the van but they hold fine. i used 8 screws on each angle.

any advice please? pic would be great.
