What sort of help do you think you need?

Cheers

having trouble with how im gonna make the water - understand how the water is made pure but not sure on how to have a good set up for an ro system.
looking to make around no more than 200 litres a day, like the idea of being able to just plug a di to tap and get instant water but tds is 300 so know i have to get an ro but i dont know how long it would take to make 200 litres each morining before i go off to work and how to set up the ro with so much water being waste and not pure. dont have too much space for set up and no main drain - was thinking of a water butt but dont know how much water would be waste every day and length of time for all this.

Sounds like a little 100 or 200gpd ro would suit you down to the ground...but you are going to need to give 'waste' a thought....are you in a house or flat?

I started with a 100gpd unit and it was fine...just ran it for most of the day to get my 250litres per day...I too needed to think about waste as my main access to a drain was some way away so I used to have 2x200litres containers as my waste bins and every now and then I would pump it to the drain...so this means you are going to need a pump and some large bore hose.

But if you think you will expand quickly in your water use i.e say 400 litres plus then you may need to re-think your requirements.

Cheers
Dave.

water to RO unit

RO unit will have a pure water pipe -- run into IBC tank or 2 rain 210 L water butts

waste water pipe into drain

job done, a 100 GPD will do you with that water usage, it does me just fine
