It fluctuates but never more than 1k. I've only ever been "done" once & that was for £30!! Apart from that I've had every penny I've ever earned as a w/c.

30 days that’s fine, 60 I am not happy, 90 days it’s very difficult to collect.
I am not speaking about commercial... as this is arranged debt. But res no mate one does not clean windows on tick. One does not buy bread and milk on credit either. I come from a country of constant recession and we must keep a firm hold on outstanding money. We are not helping our custies or ourselves if we give them credit. Credit control take discipline and guts ,but they respect you for it, We ARE WINDOW CLEANERS NOT BANKS, 30 days no more clean till you pay me. hats my rule for Residential.

At least you can reclaim the tax on any bad debt !!

I enjoy collecting, it gives good contact to custies. Because I have 2 areas that I clean close to where I live, I don't have much owing there. In other areas further away I usually end up with about 200 being owed at the end of a 6 weekly round.

Not been ripped off very often, I had the same as Stan though, 2 cleans owed, then moved away. One custy called from Wales because she had moved and forgot to pay me 13 euros for her last clean! she had rang her mate to ask her to pay her bill. Love custies like that

We,re still plodding along, back to positive now after little hickup

Mine is more than double top, but, most of that is safe.

We had 3 go last year, nearly same ammount as you, & one that was a lot higher took over six months to get paid, but, luckily we got it, that would have pushed our losses realy high.

Looking at new work now & picking up houses, them houses in stone are going well, looking to push for new ones soon, but, i,ll call first to see where you work so not to tread on your toes. Have you seen us around atall.
