Hello,
I've got a blazer plus and yesterday I was prepping to clean some carpets, plugged everything in and tried to turn my machine on. It wouldn't start and on looking carefully I could see that there was a small horizontal pipe immediately under the air filter that was dribbling petrol out. Hence, stopped immediately. I've later found out that this is a carburettor overflow pipe. So I took the air filter off, unscrewed the top of the carb... and soaked up the excess petrol, replaced everything and it worked fine with no dribbling. Spoke with a briggs & stratton person who said it may have been because I was parked forward on a steep hill at the job and gravity was letting an excess of petrol flow in. Anyway, soaked the petrol up and it worked...today though, it did the same again but only for a moment.
Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening and what I need to do???
Thanks,
Dave
