I was given a Sebo Duo to try by someone, having cancelled my order for a new one from Restormate on the back of all the negative comments I got when I asked about it on this and Tm'ers.
I've had it a week or two now and I think it's great. Yes, it's light, but you can increase the weight simply by applying more pressure to it as it passes over the carpet. It's a step up from a pile brush and one step down from an all out rotary scrub which can often be overkill. It really brushes the pre-spray into the carpet and obtains better soil release and I think it helps produce an even better result. I like it!!!!

Ive never tried a sebo duo but my envirodri is excellent but a tad heavy.
Have you tried the envirodry Simon

I think the evo will blow him away, let him get used to the screaming sebo first and maybe in 2 years he'll be ready (when his arms have built up) for the evo

Yes, I've used the Enviro Dri but it's a bit heavy for what I wanted. I already have a scrubbing attachment for my RX20 and wanted something a little lighter.

That's the problem sometimes though, if 10 people wax lyrical about something and 1 person has a negative experience! The negative always seems to stick in the mind

Anyway, I love my Sebo Duo and my Oreck Orbitor's a smashing bit of kit too....
