Time Measure for office cleaning
« on: September 17, 2009, 05:08:54 pm »
Hi Lads and Ladettes,

I was just wondering these days as bidding for cleaning contracts is now tighter than ever before.

Apart from being experienced in Quoting for office cleaning, is there a system, software or something that can measure the amount of time required to clean an office.

I know all the other bits like Ask them what hours the other cleaner is doing. or How long do they want etc

Cheers

Dave

hi there

there are  software systems available i remember seeing adverts in the cht.

with regards to productivity numbers, the big boys work on 1 emp, at a rate of about 2000-2500 sq ft per hour, whilst the smaller guys, work on about 1200- 1500 sq ft an hour.

regard

martin
