« on: September 03, 2009, 09:13:23 am »

I'm still trad but coming over to wfp shortly so can't answer your question but hey conditions are perfect at the moment for experimenting in the rain, hey i dream of light rain just seem to have the heavy stuff where i am.

I WFP'd yesterday in heavy rain.  Went back to finish other properties in area today and had a close look at those I did in the rain.  They looked perfect - no spots etc.  Spoke to a couple of customers while collecting money and they appeared quite happy.  I never ask them if the windows were ok as it draws their attention to it.

Why can't you trad in the rain - what's the difference?

The rain (which is nearly pure anyway) hits the detergent film that is left on the glass and can mark the glass.

In all my years of cleaning trad, I've never had spotting after it rained.

How much Fairy do you use 50/50  ???

just tell the cust the work is guaranteed and if they're not happy with the finish, you will fix it, that keeps most folk happy.
