airlock in di

nephew lent on tap while producing water snapped tap end connector caused airlock in system , water is leaking from connector at tap and di is not filling up , i assume its airlock and pressure must be backing up causing leaking from connector at tap what should i do

dont you have a flow control tap on the exit hose, or are you just running it straight from the tap, i had the problem a few weeks back, i bought metal conectors and they wont snap on you

just have plastic connectors , di is only a few inches full hoping its ok producing water just concerned about airlock
