for carpet cleaning, the phones are busy....  but the roads are nice and quiet - get to jobs in half the time - kids should be on holiday 52 weeks a year.  ;D

Actually, like Mark, we seem to have been really busy, especially with spring cleans. Previous years have not been like this but there seem to be a lot of end of tenancy's around.

Either that or our advertising is finally starting to pay up and everyone is calling us instead of other people.

Good luck getting the work if your struggling through the hols  :)

hi there

there seems to be a trend, in that dealing with companies, during the summer it is slower, the stock anser being that people are away on annual leave so no decisions can be made until they are back.

other companies take advantage of the lighter traffic in the office anf get extra works done.

it appears that since the schools got tough with parents taking the kids out of school during term time, there does appear to be a more dramatic effect on the road traffic levels, that said traffic levels are down due to other reasons.

you can always use the lighter work load to make sure that you are ready for when the schools do go back.

good luck

regards

martin

Just finished a top to bottom clean in a 5 bedroomed, 3.5 bathroomed house.
Owners have a 14 and 12 year old lads, and if thats not enough problem, 6 month old twins. Both working parents so not much time to clean the house - and it showed.
Took 2 of us 18 hours between us,plus all 5 bedrooms and hall/stairs were carpet cleaned with my truckmount.
While we were doing that, the family were on holiday in the Bahamas. Nice one!

Hi Brian
Certainly not the oven - if she had asked for oven I would have got a pro in and just charged it, like i did with internal windows - I could have done them but got a pro in and they did it in half my time probably.
Fridge - well the wife starts next Tuesday doing a regular weekly clean so she will sort it then.
