The microfibre pad is woven differently to standard microfibre.
I feel the Vikan kit is very efficent for regular internal cleaning jobs.

Agreed. The microfibre pads are such high quality and they justify a fair amount of the cost, especially when you consider that you can wash them 100's of times. The rest of the kit could quite easily be DIY'ed though i guess

i just use a good quality spray bottle filled with good quality water it reaches high enough, or spray on to pad ,also polish off with a clean microfibre

I can see the benefit with these kits for cleaning hard to access windows but why use them if you can just squeegee them? Few quid for a applicator and squeegee which will last ages or £70 for the easy clean kit which I guess will need new pads if used all the time quite often

The angle shaped pads are for fitting to the swivel holder and can be lightly sprayed and used as a single polish pad for lightly soiled glass or used as a one-wet and one-dry for heavily soiled glass. They are microfibre but just a different kind to some other brands. The grey polishing cloths are not for fitting to the swivel pad, but are for using as hand finishing/wiping cloths and are great for low level work that needs a quick polish. The grey polishing cloths are the best microfibre cloths I have used.
