You need to add some geographic tags to your keywords and page titles, but apart from that it looks good.

Everyone will use the names of the services as keywords, so you face huge competition for ranking on Google. Very few ppl will use the names of the smaller towns/villages area's (as well as the bigger ones) in your area in their keywords, so you can easily jump to the top of Googles rankings by targeting customers in specific geographical area's.

Most people looking for a cleaner will go to google and type the name of the service they want and also the name of the area. Catch the area!

Nathanial,
We are looking for a better website, how much would it be for one similar to www.gacontracts.co.uk. Our current website is www.proclean2u.com/houseproud and we are hardly getting any traffic to it.
Thanks

I'm actually not taking on any web design work at the moment, as my wife is due a baby next week. But,.. I'll gladly give you some quick tips on how to improve your site.

1. Your keywords are ok,.. but  you've made the classic mistake of typing "cleaning". Most ppl searching for your services in Google will type "cleaner". A small change that can make a big difference.

2. Stock photography will always put ppl off. REAL pictures of your team at work, you facing the camera and smiling,... that is what gets ppl to pick up the phone and call.

3. You need to emphasise the benefits the customer will feel when they use your service,.. NOT the actual service. Tell them the will feel happier and more relaxed in a clean home,.. the details of how you get it clean are irrelevant.

4. You need a call to action. Instead of "Call Us", try "Call NOW". Any special offers you run should be very time limited,... "call within 7 days to avail of this special offer" etc. Make them pick up the phone before they have time to look at other cleaners websites.

5. Be confident in your service and show it. "100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" is a great thing to promote your services to new customers,.. they appreciate that you're taking a risk in much the same way they are letting someone they don't know into their home.

6. Get your own domain name. It will help Google ranking and looks more pro. www.letshost.ie offer a fantastic service and support and they're not too expensive if you pay 24 months at a time.

7. Change your page titles to include some keywords. Instead of "Home", try "Houseproud cleaning - Brightening homes in Atherton, Leigh, Tyldesley, Astley, Lowton, Westhoughton and Hindley."

8. Simplify and reduce your text. Don't let ppl get bored before they reach the bottom of the page. Say what has to be said in short concise sentences,.. and if it doesn't need to be said, don't say it! I'd replace the 2nd last paragraph on your home page with "Free, no obligation quotations. Call now to arrange a time that suits you"

9. Register with Google webmaster tools to see how your site looks to their "crawler". The info can allow you to see where changes can be made to improve your ranking.

10. Track what traffic you have. Sign up wit www.statcounter.com to see who is looking at your site, what pages are being viewed and for how long (Its free too!)

Any questions,.. I'm only too happy to help.
