anything other than mdr
« on: July 23, 2009, 08:07:12 am »
Used mdr to get stains of windows. No good. Made no difference at all. Any suggestions on any thing else that i can try. The stains are caused from limescale and minerals out of the wall above the window.

Thanks in advance.

not all mineral spots are on the surface of the glass, its possible it has been etched away to form these, in which case its permanent, although you may be able to minimise it.

i use titan labs
A1 Hard Water Stain Remover,

Ive never found their MDR any good!

although i hear Winsol's
Crystal Clear 550 Glass Restorer is quite good although ive never used it (yet)

I'm waiting for my Winsol 550 to arrive today or tomorrow. (Window Clean Centre sell it)

Simple Green makes a limescale remover. I'd give it a try. If you do use CC550 be careful of tin etch haze.
