local community mags for work, price around £20-30 per month but gives us 20% of work.

Leaflets might get the ball rolling, but most domestic work is going to be from word of mouth. You should also tell EVERYONE you talk to about your new business. You will be suprised as to who talks to who and where the work comes from. Good luck.

more like a minimum of 2-3 hours a day if you are starting from scratch.

hi there

its irrelevamt of the type of wok that you are seeking. whether it be commecial or domestic.

sales activity is key.

cards in windows of shops, rolling 4 weeks at a time

local newspaper advert, nothing to glamorous, again for a good period of time.

detail in those ads your website address, and phone numbers.

leaflets distributed to the catchment area that you are targetting.

at first you should dedicate as much time as possible, lets be honest if you are starting a business and you dot have any clients, then you will be doing 8 hours a day of sales activity.  as the clients atart to come in, then concentate your leaflets in the area of those clients, to keep your transport costs as low as possible, you can then also reference those clients when you are  pesenting to other prospect cleints,

ie "we clean for a couple of people in the next street down"

supplies, find the local janitorial supplier and have a meeting with them .

any other questions pleasse ask

regards

martin
