laquer to prolong poles life ?
« on: June 27, 2009, 01:41:58 pm »
I'm having a few days off and have decided to perform some maintenance to my extel hybrid as its starting to wear.
I've heard others mention before that you can apply laquer to the sections ? is this engine laquer ? what would you recomend I use ?
thanks
Simon

I am guessing it would be a hard setting laquer (as in clear coat) as engine laquer is sillicon and would make your pole slipery shiney and sticky

DONT USE LAQUER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried it and it made my pole stiff and brittle. It snapped on the first window. Never again.
