Anyone used the Kaivac system?
« on: June 01, 2009, 10:24:06 pm »
Hi all, I have heard about this kaivac system for cleaning loos. It is pitched as something you pop into the toilets, switch it on, close the door and after 20 mins, the room is bright & clean.

Find it a bit too good to be true - anyone any experience?

i have one we bought for a large contract which we dont do any more, basically it is a indoor powerwasher with a vac attachment you enter the toilet ,soap everything up then wash of using the 400psi washer when finished all water is sucked up with vac, it does do a very good job and the chemicals are brilliant but very expensive in my opinion it is only good and quicker for deep cleans where walls panels and everything need cleaning on general daily cleans it is slower than conventional cleaning but does do a better job with no need to touch dirty surfaces or any chance of cross contamination.
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt
