« on: May 22, 2009, 07:08:16 am »
Anyone any ideas on how to clear an s want  of possible blockage.

I may have a coin stuck in it.

Ive tried curly wire used for clearing sinks  but that is thin enough t5o buy pass coin.

Tried bending a brass tube but couls not get angle right

Any other flexiable implements  I could use

Problem is  not sure if anything is stuck in it.

Water runs through  but it would.

Wondering if preasure washer could be answer

I would think a pressure washer would do the trick. Can't see how it could do any harm.

Do you have a compresser. A bit of a blasting between the lips ( oh er mrs ) may help.

Can't really see how a coin would get stuck in there. There isn't too much to get caught up on in a wand. Are sure it isn't in your waste tank.

can you pass a piece of cord past the blockage and out the top?, if so do this then tie the wand end through a steel washer, push washer through the lips then pull the cord from the top. it will snag on the blockage and pull it clear

I think what ever it was is now clear as was gripping carpet today

Thinking about it. Coin would be virtually impossible to be sucked by wand

you could suck a coin up a wand.
You need a friendly plumber with a cctv thingy, get him to put his camera down it to see
