You were talking about a generator and I came across a site yesterday where they mention a Honda. Now this set up is huge so if the Honda is capable of running a monster set up it would cope with whatever you have in mind. Rated at 10,000 watts.
www.SAVAGE-1.com  and look under the F A Q's you will find a photo of a van with the generator on a shelf. Looks pretty compact.
I should add that I know b****er all about generators but if you read through this site you'll find it's able to provide enough power to drive a twin wanding machine with huge hose runs at high CFM'S.

Last year a landlord booked me to clean a house because the tenants had complained about the carpets.
Job was at 5.30 pm when they got home from work.
Turned up before 5.30 but no one arrived until 5.45 so was getting a bit ped off.
The lady tenant was Polish who I normally like a lot but she looked like a concentration camp guard and was very abrupt.
The house was a small 3 bed semi, full of furniture and she asked if I moved all the furniture to which I gave my standard answer that I will move what I am physically capable of moving.
She said " what if we decide to move furniture in future, we will have dirty patches where the furniture used to be "
She went upstairs and started emptying the wardrobes and chests of draws so I could move them to clean but instead of putting everything on the bed she piled it up on the floor.
Now I was getting really ped off and told her I would only clean around the furniture because at this rate the job was going to take hours and I wanted paying for the extra time.
She then rang the landlord who did not want to pay any more money which did not please her.
She then asked if the carpets would be wet or dry
Through very gritted teeth I said they would be damp but if she opened all the windows they would dry a lot quicker.
She then said " that is no good I have a cold so wet carpets and open windows will make me worse, so you will have to come back when I am better "
I knew I should have walked long before this point so I virtually ran to my van and was wheel spinning down the road.
The landlord rang me a month later to go back but I politely refused ;D
