Interpreting the weather....
« on: May 13, 2009, 10:16:15 pm »
You often see posts worried about the weeks forecast.

This is pointless! The weather invariably changes so relying on the 3 day forecast is all you can do. Also are you chaps using the 24 hr breakdown? This can be surprisingly accurate. The symbol for the day maybe wet, but the breakdown shows the wet coming in late evening!
This week has been a case in point: a wipe out according to Sundays forecast yet tomorrow looks ok, making it 4 full days I've worked this week. I love the BBC!

Well sunday night and monday they were forecasting heavy rain for tuesday. Great I thought 'cos I had a hospital appointment anyway. Wasted the day in Bath with perfect sunshine. Half a days work today and the rain comes in so I switch to gutters then the sun comes out  ???
Rain for the rest of the week so a couple of newer jobs are switched to next week but who knows? Best to just get up and open the curtains i think.
Over your way tomorrow Kev, so hope it's dry.
