Ever snapped your pole in the wind??
« on: May 11, 2009, 05:56:44 pm »
Just wondering......! I haven't (yet!) but today I was doing some 3 storey houses and my Carbon SL2 was under a lot of pressure. Just wondering if anyone had their SL2 or any other pole snap.

You shouldnt snap your pole in the wind even at 60 mph, but if you let go and drop it then it will probably snap  ;D

There seems to be a common theme running through this thread; " my pole snapped"  :-\ :-\ :-\

Snapped the third section of my carbon Brodex pole on friday. It snapped right in the middle of the section, whereas i thought it would have gone nearer to a clamp.I was shutting a window with it as opposed to the wind breaking it.Am waiting until July for a new Gardiners pole.
