recovering money
« on: May 08, 2009, 12:04:50 pm »
hi what company do you use to recover money  from bad payers  and what do i have o pay for them services.
just had a phone call from a customer after 6 weeks saying that their window haven't been cleaned  and also that the back gate was locked even that i remember that i told him to leave it unlocked and indeed was it .i cleaned the house left a note and a stamped envelope for the cheque.next clean was few days ago and told i haven't cleaned the windows.i think it's just a way to get rid of me.he just could have said we don't need your services anymore not to say that we didn't cleaned  the house.strangely enough he always paid me £5 extra for the clean.anyway.... thanks for reading

if its a £5 tipper then i think its a genuine mixup, doesnt sound to me like they are tightfisted, people do make mistakes and i think the old saying the customer is always right should apply in this case, even when their wrong,me personally id just waive the payment and tell them theres been a mixup.

hi the job is £15 .but on the phone sounded like i was a thief asking for something i haven't done.it made feel so angry.i just can't ignore that.so i just sent them a letter that their payment is 56 days overdue and if his not paying in 2 weeks he will have to pay penalties.hope that will scare them .it's not that much about the money is about my pride.i never messed about with anybody, always been reliable ,i just can't stand this kind of situation .it's just not fair

Small claims court.

Mind, you may have to pay more in recovery.

There are rules laid down on how you should recover bad debt too.

Check out their web site.
