I have done loads like this, Ben a furniture clinic sells an antique dye set,  so clean, sand, clean, light fill, dye with a couple of coates then more colour on specific areas to 'antique it'.

Could be an anitque style John.
Either way should restore very well.
Filling is always risky on a seat cushion.  No filling etc  required with the BRIT system.
Also Pigment in a Can provides a very easy way to restore the antique finish once the base coat has been restored.
Give us a ring John.

Actually LTT sell some wonderful colours in cans, now how easy is that? infact I would offer an excellent fantastic service with a price to match and shell out for the colours in cans from LTT, I had forgotten about those, I honestly thought that hey were the best idea for ages I think they are £10 a piece but call LTT.
