Note the poor air flow in the zipper. You can see the extracted water through the window but it's not moving anywhere!

The L A guy with the portable appears to be getting a better result although in danger of inducing a heart attack.

bosh
all bits of kit on you tube are supposed to look fantastic, not saying its cwap, but are the carpets dryer? 6 jets, does it use loads of water? certainly looks easier to use than a wand but thats not why we clean carpets.
i'll stick with me wand for domestic and rx for commercial.
but if you get one, let us know what you think.

Think it will use more water then a standard wand because it is working on both the push and the pull stroke, hence its claim to be more efficient.
and the video using the kids is quiet clever - even a 7 year old can work the wand!
Try that with yours without a glide Derek.

Hi Derek
Well if you look at this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRg5zJRuirM&feature=related

You can see that the man in the video demonstrating how dry the carpets is after he has cleaned them.

your not quite getting my point bosh

apparently theres a man who is faster than a speeding bullit, i saw it on the tele.

today i saw a programme where some people are gonna borrow 174 billion pounds and make the country great again.

let me ytry it this way
heres the sellers point of view
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kjHhw9mEmM&feature=related

and heres the users point of view
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KztwOTw4Tis  (extremely funny if watched to the end)

totally different.

i'm not saying what youve seen is wrong, the zipper really could be a great piece of kit, all i'm saying is, don't believe everything you hear on a youtube video, youve done the right thing asking on here but i'm not sure any off us have got one, personallly i'd try and find a distributer who can let you try one for a week or so, if there as good as they claim they are then i can't see why they wouldn't, cleansmart do something similar with the wonder wand.

It is on the world of clean website  (I wont say Solutions UK cause some think I am in their pockets).

Not sure but I think it is around £2500 - lot of money but I reckon a lot of R&D.

Did the inventor learn this marketing gimmick off Gillette?

Although they do say two heads are better than one, but is it really the best a Carpet Cleaner can get?

He will do a pink one soon for the Laydees at twice the price.

OK I'm a cynical bvgger. ;D

Whilst the zipper may look good I question the use in the UK, compared to the US.

Firstly some years back I bought from the states a six jet wand, the selling gambit was quicker cleaning, quicker drying, all the old speel. However the first thing you notice is the sheer size of this bugger and pulling 2" hose round someones house, the weight of it and the amount of water it would use even on low pressure.

It didn't clean any quicker because you needed more strokes to take out the bloody amount of water it deposited. I was bolloxed because of it sheer weight

The next point is that houses in the UK are decidely smaller in the UK, so unless its bought for commercial cleaning then it would be pointless, and if it was for commercial I think an RX20 is a better bet.

What we need is a UK designed piece of equipment for the UK housing.

It is a glorified drag wand, the weight of it makes it stick to the floor, the window reminds me of the Extracta wand but apparently that chamber is there for a reason not just to allow the movement of air and water, the zapper does however make sure you get a good wand to carpet grab so that you don't get lazy wanding.

Well guys many thanks for your feed back, the best thing is that one of their representative to come on this forum and explain this tool in detail, that’s if they want to sell it to the mass market, and I think the best way to go forward is to try it out for a week or so, like Derek said.

Once again many thanks for your feed back.
