Does anyone know where I can buy a lightweight work vest for window cleaning?
I can buy quilted ones, but it's getting too warm to ware them now.
Lightweight fabric,
one big pocket each side,
two breast pockets,
one inside pocket,
zip fastened.

Most of the fishing vests have loads of useless small pockets.

Since I went WFP, my belly has expanded, bum bags tend to end up round my knees when they get full of coin, so I need a jacket I could ware on a hot summers day, maybe high viz to kill two birds with one stone.
A great little business venture for someone that has worked in the rag trade, a purpose made W/C jacket for carrying the money, your mobile, your round card or book and pen, and maybe a scraper.
I would buy two for a start, size XXL.

if your bellys geting big you want to go the other way like lester pigott used to do
get a big jacket or rubber top and sweat more also ride around in the van with heater on

Have a look at this one. I got it from a fishing stall on the local market.

It was brown when I bought it. After a year it faded so I dyed it black. The cotton took the dye, but the acrylic stitching didn't!

Brilliant vest, tho. And it matches your description perfectly.

So keep on looking at the fishing stores/stalls.

Yes, that's the type I want, only made from nylon or polyester.
Market stalls seem to be the only place you can pick one up, and then only rarely.
I would have thought that the bigger W/C suppliers would have seen the possibilities with this type of vest.
They used to make  vests for trad cleaners, waterproof pocket for scrim etc, but not the right design for WFP. I actually only need the pockets, and on as lightweight a fabric as practicable

Have a look at The Site Supply co Ltd www.sitesupplyco.com they do an "executive hi viz vest" two velcro pockets on front, zip opening etc, really quick delivery not a bad price and good printing.

Dickies make a lightweight vest with pockets galore. 10 pockets or more and 4 are at hip level, ideal for trad w/cleaning. Can't get lighter than a dickies waistcoat and waterproof as well. Ideal for keeping scrim dry.

That's nothing like the ones I use to wear. Pockets are too high for starters, pockets and BOAB wants to be below waist level with quick clip on/off for BOAB to save getting a wet leg and loops for drying Unger microfibre cloth as you work.
