Do you think you can earn a living at those prices - I doubt it

I was thinking it would take me about 3 hours , if so it wouldn't be too bad, I was crap at pricing when I first started window cleaning , nowts changed then it appears. what would you charge ; :-[

I "was"guilty of pricing  too cheap, I seemed to have a hang up when I measured up (Carpets) and the price went over the £100 mark.... The customer could clearly see that I was lacking in confidence and would knock my prices down.... It's taken a while but now I tell them what the price is with more authority.

I did quote for a regular who always knocks my price down, so I added £40 on top of my genuine quote.... they felt so good when they bartered me down by £30 ;D

You're not just a pressure washing operative, you're a manager, stock manager etc etc.... Make sure you're covering your costs..... All the best!

if your happy and the customer is happy then it is priced right and you will get referalls from it.
people moan at me for pressure washing at a min price of £40 which some say are too cheap. these sort of jobs are done in an hourish and can do a few a day so end result is good and get referalls from it.

Thanks for your replies, I am going to have to play it by ear for a while , if customers are snapping my hand off for every quote I am obviously too cheap , if so I will have to adjust my prices , I'll get there in the end , Cheers Dave  :)

I would be looking for £1.50 - £2.50 depending on the state of the flags

£2 for flags and £2.50 for block paving.
You'll probably do about 20 - 25sq m an hour with flags, less with block paving.

Every jobs different,i aim for £50 an hour, minimum £50  charge. You could get a job that takes 2 hours and the same size job in a worst condition that will take 3 hours. If you haven`t got much on you earn something,if your busy you charge the full wack.

i know some people charging £3 upwards a sq metre.  custys think they are getting a better service than just gypsies in a white van washing bins and drives for £40 nicker.
