Glossy leaflets
« on: February 13, 2006, 08:17:14 pm »
As mentioned earlier, i have enclosed, with Dougs permission the details of a fast printing service that can deal with orders through the post or in person.

I have had 5000 A5 glossy leaflets made, double sided, full colour and printed on 130gms paper for the sum of £99 (No Vat) They do cheaper leaflet options and business cards.

For a sample pack please contact them:

Mr Luke George

Tel: 029 2036 0333  Fax:  029 2036 0033  E-mail:  masterlinemarket@aol.com

ps.  I tried to upload samples, but the files are too large to do this. If anybody would like to see a sample i will try to e-mail you one.

Can anyone help me. I have scanned these samples and they have come out at 11 megabytes of storage. I have tried compressing them on file, and they are now 5 megabytes.

Is there a way to compress them further. If there isn't, i do appologise for letting people down, but if you contact masterline, tell them spot on sent you, they will sort you out.

Hi,

What programmes do you have to edit photos?  I use photoshop and its really easy to downsample images by doing the following.

Open the image
In the file menu click save for the web
Select an appropriately sized (in Kb) and decent quality downsample
Click on the image size tab
Reduce the image size by around 50% (so you can see it all in a single browser window without scrolls)
Click save

Hey presto, you have a downsampled image.

If you dont have this programme, or any idea what im talking about then i would be happy to edit it for you.  Send me the the 11Mb file through a web site (www.sendthisfile.com or www.yousendit.com) and i will get a smaller image back to you.

Hope this helps.

Graeme

Thanks Graeme,

I might take you up on this offer. I don't have Adobe Photoshop, but am waiting for my nephew to get me a copy. I did not realise that you can downsize a photo in this way.
