got a local engineering firm to do it for me.....its well fixed two on each side bolted through floor. have,nt done a crash test though to prove it ,s safe ,as ive only the one van. but thanks for the concern

Just wondering how they did it, i had mine done in a local garage but i'm still looking to improve it (despatch) Mine is strapped but i think i'm going to beef up the lashing rings i've used. Mine's not on a pallet though so i'm interested to know what keeps the cage on.

I've just noticed the reel on the back door - good idea hadn't thought of that.

cage came already fastened on to the pallet.    did have to take it off to get the pallet and tank in,then re fix .
 its a very tight fit which i suppose is good.

I've just noticed the reel on the back door - good idea hadn't thought of that.
bought it from b&q 50 metre...its got the mounting on to fit it to a wall but is also detachable so you can point it which way your working.
