sodium percarbonate

although most sodium percarbonate boosters should be used with detergents has anybody ever used them on their own to clean carpets. it should be very effective on organic stains and would leave only borax as a residue. on the same point can these be used with ms either in the rinse or with the ms themselves. are their any peroxide based booster on the market as these would leave no residue (but water). boosters can be brought from cheap stores (mine was from bargain madness and cost 80p!!) as sodium percarbonate is the active part these can be as potent as speciality products from cc chem manfs(although these are usually reasonable) i mean products such as oxibrite, maxi boost, energizer etc. these products could also be used at high temp with no probs (but shrinkage).
ps i have only used them as advised on the label with pretty inconclusive results

Dynafoam

The use of  oxygen-producing agents can be useful problem-solvers but should be avoided for general cleaning as they can cause at least as many problems as they can solve.

As solo cleaning agents they are of very limited value.
