I know this is not really the right section but I thought I'd try here first.
Firstly I know ZERO about wooden floor maintenance, but the customer is aware of this and isn't expecting miracles, so were not talking about sanding back or anything major. they just want it cleaned and given a shine :
I've had a look at the floor (sorry no photo's) - It looks in good condition, I can't be certain of what the floor is, but i would guess it was a hardwood laminate ?? BUT I COULD BE TOTALLY WRONG
Are there any fool proof products to:
A - To give the floor a general clean, to remove the grime with a buffer (any advise on what pads to use would also be great)
B - To put a shine to it after the clean.
I just hoped someone could recommend some "Can't go wrong " cleaning product to get rid of the grime (it actually doesn't look that dirty to me) and also a polish thats easy to apply.
Finally equipment wise, I have an oreck orbitor and a cimex cyclone, would any of these be OK for the job, What pads should I buy?
Job not booked until - OH GOD !! just realised - Friday the 13th march ( is that an omen) so plenty of time to sweat yet.
All advice greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
