leaflet poll
« on: February 27, 2009, 11:35:54 am »
Hi, im having a leaflet surge at the moment, but i have run out of my professionally made leaflets, and i am printing my own...

but this is proving really expensive , i have gone through ink so quick...

just thought i would ask what proves to work for you... the glossy printed ones from a company or your own.... and how do you make that cheaper, given the price of ink, and the speed of which the cartridges empty?

and what size do you all use? ;)

Get yourself a continuous ink flow system Gaz Its what I use and the ink lasts for ages and you can print thousands of leaflets off.

Hi Tam,

It was £149 for 10,000 leaflets including delivery.

They are 135gsm double sided glossy.

Hi Gaz
This was the first site I Google' d but it fits onto your printer and has bottles of ink that keep the cartridges (supplied) topped up and replacement bottle cost peanuts to buy.

Andy I only ask because I've got a pic of the same guy; but I didn't do any of the art work, I got it from a printer who said he did a lot of work for window cleaners and this is what we came up with.  I did the wording (not the bad wording though; I never noticed 'conservatories roofs' till after the leaflets arrived (doh!)).

I always wonder if I or the printer has infringed some sort of copyright rule, and I'm sure I saw the 'before and after' pics in a post by Steve K (whose now a fireman).
