RO MAN AND PRESSURE ISSUES.

Hi,

I have a ro man 300 gpd which has slowed recently to 50 on the dial.

Should i buy a pump to improve the pressure and how much could i expect it to leap to if i did?

All prefilters have been recently changed.

I dunno about the pressure but my (same) RO doubles in production with a booster pump.
The tds out also comes down to 7ppm instead of 23ppm.

Would it be possible to use the pump on a bigger system in the future say connecting it up to a 4040.

I believe a 4040 uses a different pump.
My pressure is 45-50psi and I use a pump. It takes production up from 25 litres an hour to 40 litres an hour, and purity from 18ppm to 8ppm so well worth it IMO

I have a 100GPD ro-man set up and have a booster pump. There is a hex screw on the front of the pump and you just dial in what ever pressure you want. Mains pressure goes up, tweak it down and vica/versa

Well i replaced all 3 ro today and the old ones looked like they were done in by the frost.

Now there doesnt seem to be any water being produced even though the gauge is showing good pressure ???

Since Christmas I've been using an old 100psi shurflo as a booster pump when needed(cold days slow production), getting 50psi out of mains and boosting  it to 80/90psi gives me just over double pure water production and tds out lowered from 5 to 3

Phone or e-mail Ro-man.

I had a problem with my 300 gpd unit (brand new and had 2 faulty membranes). They suggested a couple of things which didn't work then sent me 2 new membranes and unit now works well.

They should be able to suggest likely cause of your problem.

i also use sureflow as booster pump 12month no problems really fast water production
