Looks like a fake to me, did they ask for any bank details or just ni number.  Even so with just the ni number they could steal your identity.  I've never had an email from the HM revenue.

Its a fake.

No Tax office or bank etc will ask you for your personal details on the web.
 
I had two about a month ago.

Defo suspect especialy since I am a tax dodger !!!  . Only kiding.
