you tap the switch left to turn on and the right to turn of, that was the old way, so peter changed it to,  up to switch on and down to turn of, reason was when you cleaned the frame on the right side, sometime it accidently knocked of. i got around this by using a vikan sil brush, the bristles splay outwards, stoping the bar hiting the wall,

This is a trigger valve off Ebay (item number120305588474)

The hose from the reel attaches to the male spigot using a Rectus 21 (pneumatic)female connector.  The pole hose you can see loops round and goes up the pole - so it needs to be as long as the pole when fully extended.

I have four of them - they saves you loads of water.

Email me if you want any further information on it.  (Or ring me on  07968 845 936)

;) I never went for a trigger, the thought of the loop of tube hanging around...  :-\

The one in the last pic looks like a harris pole, so it would probably be ok with that size pole... imo any longer and thats a lot of tube hanging around! (all around your feet!) ::)

Often thought of the auto-brush, ever since it changed, but haven't as yet!

You can buy the kits and choose your own brush, or buy them complete!
I would go for one of these

I use a trigger with an 18ft pole and Ive always found it preety good, saves loads of water and not too much hose hanging around cos its not a very big pole. Those autobrushes look interesting though, how much are they and where can you get them?

Yes, it does get underfoot sometimes (curse/swear).

But for any pole up to 17/18 ft its manageable.

And you could 'hang' it onto some kind of 'hook/restraint' - like the end bit of Dai's pole-tidy in the 'thread' SWIVEL JOINTS.

In fact, I'm going to do just that!

trigger is a nightmare gets in the way all the time and after a few months hurts the wrist joint, very good for saving water though.

have four poles and triggers same as mikes, they are originally from Numatic the company who produce Henry hoovers etc, they are brilliant,so controllable, cost about £15 delivered.Yes you sometimes get the loop tangled, but a small price to pay!!!!Cant believe people use WFP systems without some kind of water shut off!!Dave
