« on: February 19, 2009, 01:57:56 pm »
I have an ro system. Can anyone tell me if there is an addittive that I can use to kill off and clean out the green mould in the bottom of my tank that will save me scrubbing it out! ???

I don't know about additives but I have used bleach!
I emptied the system bleached it out rinsed it out

Sunlight keep it out of sunlight (your tank) cover it with plastic, anything

Get rid of the green before it spreads, and it will! ::)
You don't want it in your pump! ;)

milton sterilising soloution maybe,

I do know in aquatic shop you can get something called green (or simalar) away that gets rid of algy in a fish tank, this I guess would work, fish can live using it so it cant be that bad. I can find out the name if needbe as my dad owns an aquatics shop
