Pump for Ninja
« on: February 09, 2009, 02:24:53 pm »

Hi guys
I have a  400 p.s.i. pump on my ninja, and packed up on a job today. :-\
Any of you know where is the best place to buy this?
I know Ashby’s sell them, but I think they would be too expensive?

Best regard

Try phoning my engineer Carl on 07775 881279. Mention my name.

When I had a problem he sourced the particular part needed rather than a complete new pump, And I don't think it was from Ashby's

Hi Roger
Many, many thanks, this can save me a bundle.
your Engineer CARL, where is he based?
Because I am in south.
By the way had to call Ashby’s yesterday and they said , 400 P.S.I. pump plus the motor which assemble on top is £440.00 all inclusive.  :o

I will call CARL and see what he say.

Once again, many thanks, this is a great help

Best Regards

Bosh

He's out in the sticks, half way to Buxton from Stockport.

Cheers thought you had told me about him last time and would be good to give him my money rather than a large dealer :)

Was going to say ashbys are expensive but the pumps will be quality :)

Hi Roger.

Well I did contact  Carl this afternoon, he was very helpful, in a way that he explained to me about these kind of pumps, he was saying  that there are so many different pumps out in the market ,and you have to know exactly which one you require, plus he need to see it so he can diagnose the problem, and to be unset with you, he is too far for me to go out there, it will coast me probably around £100.00 on fuel just to get there, I thinks my best bit is to buy a new pump and when I change the old one just play with it  and see if I can fix it, he also said  that Ashby’s price for that kind of pump is about right..

Well you have been a great help and many thank for your advice.

Best Regard
