if you use or make that brush lighter it would be much better

just trim that brush down with a disk cutter

drill a hole in the tread bit then the same in the angle adapter, only prob is when taking section off and on. but good job there that man, get a lighter brush though.

just get a super lite brush you wont regret it, double or single trim, im still a fan of the single trim

Hi.very interested in the post about 'Heatshrink' What do u do with it? How do u do it? What are any advantages?

you use steam to shrink it, used as base section for nice none slip grip, also one god advantage i don't mention a lot is repair, when you tape up for repair then use heat shrink to sleeve repair and shrink it

I tried to use my pole today 
It might be because i've been spoilt by using the stiffest poles on the market but it's just too whippy even with a superlight brush on the end.
I haven't used anything other than an slx and an s2 since April and i now hate bendy poles!
I don't know how this pole compares with a Zensorflex - i'll try and find out.
Anyone want a cheap pole?

Buy a proper pole; they're not that expensive and saves all the faffing around with a fishing pole. If you want a fishing pole use it for what it's designed to do and go fishing; it beats a day window cleaning

With a DIY pole there's next to no faffing round?  What faffing are you referring too?

My DIY modular poles are great - took about ten minutes to 'DIY' and have cost a fraction of a 'supplier version'!

And if you do a search on this site, you'll find there's a lot of 'faffing around' done with supplier poles!
