Hi guys when the phone rings and you get a new custie do you tell them what day and time you will be there for the first clean? Or do you just say right your on my books i will text or call you the night before i'm coming for the first clean. I've been telling them what day and time but now i'm getting more custies can't really tell them the ecact day and time. Is this a problem? ??? ???

I would normally say that i will be in your area on the 1st week of feb (or whenever) and if they need to keep the gate unlocked then text the night before.
Its hard to give an exact date and almpost impossible to give a time as you might be behind due to bad weather, problems with van, etc so dont commit to a time.
Also, avoid having to contact the customer the night before if you can cos it gives them the opertunity to say 'not this time'.

For regular monthly cleans - All new cleans are done on the weekends, when they are in.. they get to meet me, as i do with them. they get the chance to answer any questions..

Then, i put them on the books for the regular cleans, whenever it is due next (mon - fri), and i take the same approach to notice as RO sheen.

For appointments its done on the next available day.

Very similar to the above.

Always allow plenty of time for a 'first clean' and try and set a date when the customer is in - that way they can see how much time/effort you put into doing a good job.

After that, I tell them my frequency is 4/5 weeks, depending on the weather. I never promise a particular day, but I do ring (some) customers up the night before if there is an access issue.

I put them on asap and let them know the day. If they are not in I always return later the same day when they are in to make sure they are happy and to start building the all important customer relationship.

Unless it`s an electric gate job i just say i`ll be there within the next week or so and if your not in i`ll leave a ticket saying that i called.
