Clinton offers on leaflets do really work but it's how you word them and also how you word your leaflet.

Key words are

Quality carpet cleaning
Quick drying
No residue
XX years experience
More powerful machinery
Safe
Insured
Local

You have to put your fizzog on it also!

When it comes to a service business your buying someones time and expertise so you cant offer the same offers as a retail business as youll be working for less.  I think this offer offers too much so as mentioned people are suspicious of it.

When I did flyer drops and also regular letters to previous customers there was only ever a small uptake on the offers.

Ive a £10 off voucher for Hmaster sitting on my notice board for about two years and have never used it.  Why.  Because it never enters my head to use it when Im ordering.  As Mike says an offer is an impulse buy for now not next month.
