Have you tried PTFE tape?

I have same problem with mine. My supplier has told me to cut about a quater of an inch off the riser tube which may solve the problem. Haven't tried it yet.

Your rubber seal which sits in the head must have come off when you last filled it. Have a look around b&q to see if you can find a replacement.

This is what stops your di vessels from leaking.

gave the head a tap with the hammer just to turn it a bit Bingo its worked. As Klean 07 said i think the riser tube maybe slightly to long

Thanks Guys

Resin on the thread can stop it doing right up sometimes.

Too much pressure will force the top to skip over the threads too .I've had to put mine before the pump and suck the water through rather than pressure it up now.
