Pricing Help - Please
« on: January 13, 2009, 01:47:39 pm »
I did this job yesterday as a builders clean, but I felt I undercharged the job -  :-\. It took me a lot longer than I expected, and there was bit ' stubborn' bits than I had anticipated.

So, just out of interest what would you have charged for a builders clean - insides and out, balcony glass, velux's the lot?

And what would you charge for a 4 weekly clean, as I sure he is going to ask?

Thanks

Marc

If I was guaranteed a regular well paid monthly account out of it i would do the builder's clean cheaply; so not to scare them off with the price.  I'd bite the bullet and reap the rewards later.

I can't really give a price; it's complicated; but last year I had a small wadge of builder's cleans which were small new build detached houses; no more than 13 windows; and I charged £60 a house (each one took about an hour; outside only).

I would've been much cheaper had I had a regular job from it.

I would not think that this job would take two men two days i have done similar size builders cleans inside and out, removing stickers, plaster etc in one day by myself.

Thanks for the replys.

I have to say I charged a fair bit less than whats been suggested - I took me a days work,on my own, but a pretty hard one at that.

For the monthly clean I think I will be uping my price :)
