Inconsiderate customers!
« on: November 26, 2008, 07:17:06 pm »
I do a block of sheltered accommodation flats (about 18 in all at the princely sum of £4 each) trouble is every month at least one keels over, dies or gets carted off to hospital. This month has been terrible - I've had four!

Mrs O______ who rudely decided to die and leave her flat empty! Grrrrr!

One custy who is 89 has had a stroke. Her daughter - whose house I do - asked me not do do her mum's house because she's in hospital. How inconsiderate!

Another one in was taken off in an ambulance just as I arrived to do hers. That's another selfish old lady!

And finally my little old cornishman who has mental issues got put away by social services (with plod's assistance) - so that's cost me too!

So I'm £14.00 down today - if it wasn't for two new houses at £28.50 and £12 respectively I'd have to slit my wrists! ;D
It's a game of three halves!

hahaha, i have a few custys that pay in advance, its great getting a big was of cash for a job you havent done, only trouble is when you come to do it i always feel cheated working for free and would prefer they paid each time, weird innit, obviously something psychological

I had the same problem on a sheltered housing complex, I told them all "I'm fed up with you lot dying off in the winter, so before next winter comes I'm introducing a new contract.  In future you have to apply to me in triplicate at least three months in advance if you're going to kick the bucket"
