blimey thats a high tds
mine is 250 previously had a merlin but only got down to 40 before di. I've now a 4040 from gaps water and am very pleased with it and the advice they gave. Maybe worth giving them a ring to advise you what would be best for you. I now produce water just as quick if not quicker than the merlin but much purer (about 005). You may need a softener too perhaps ?

i have a 200 gpd ro man system feeding into a 1000 ltr ibc,

ro feeds through di before it goes into holding tank.

i have a 500 ltr tank in my van use 300-350 ltrs max per day ( using varistream and pole trigger )  ;)

i dont have a booster pump tds is 320 , tap pressure 60psi,

i leave my ro system filling ibc until full ( sometimes over weekend), i have not run out of water yet , as ro system is producing water whilst at work , overnight ,
and on days of .

It depends on how much more water you need.

Don't go near a Merlin with your TDS.. you will eat resin.

June at Gapswater really knows her stuff. As Cybersye says at your in going TDS you will want a softener before a 40 inch RO system. Also if your water pressure is reeally low you will want a booster pump for it.

Another alternative could be another RO-MAN pumped 300 GPD system. It's working OK on TDS reduction and another would double production. Your water source will easily feed 2 of them with input water.
