blinking green light means low battery,

how often do you charge your battery,

draining it to low is no good for a leasure battery,

i charge every night , no problems,

my battery is over 2 yrs old, still going strong

if the green light was coming on and pump was trying to pump, then varistream is set to shut of at to high a pressure,

if on the other hand green light flashing rapidly ,

it means low battery,

even with split charger, you could be taking more out than you put in,

there for slowing lowering battery over time.

If it's not sealed, check the water level. I had a similar problem and when I checked the plates were showing, a spot of DI water and it was fine.
