1400 sqm is a big job, especially as your first. As this is an office car park then unless it is to be coned off for the duration then the Logistics will mean this is impossible for you to complete, due to time constraints, your experience and equipment.

I would suggest you sub this job out, work with your subbie (assuming they are OK with this) and learn as much as you can.

1400 sqm would take one man with the proper set up at least 6 or seven days to clean. On top of this you are looking at more than a day to sand, at this time of year you will really struggle to get this done.

Do you already have a good quality pressure washer?

I just finished a 750sqm car park and that was a big job. As previously stated you can only do it at certain times due to the cars, even if you split it off you are likely to mess up the other cars which you dont want!

I did 750sqm on my own Saturday, Sunday and following Sunday morning and thats with a really good set up. I didnt have to sand as the joints were grouted but I would have probably got someone in to help me brush it in.

On your own around 50 hours for the clean and upto a day to sand it. How on earth did you manage to get such a great job for your first one??? Hope your not too cheap!

Good luck

Steve,
As others have stated, you might want to consider subbing this out.
We did a car park earlier this year around the same size, it took 3 days to wash, 2 persons, 1 1/2 days to sand, 3 people.
Now if you go for this alone, some things to consider,
Where is all the sludge going to go, what is the water access like,
Where is the waste water going to go, yesl alot will go down drians but are they clear or bunged up will the car park flood.
You are going to need to prepair H&S docs for this as it is commercial.

That machine will be fine to do the work. Just make sure you have a good turbo lance and bobs your uncle.
