Spotting machines from the U.S.
« on: March 04, 2005, 08:21:00 am »
Hi guys n gals

i know very little about the electrical side of things so hopefully someone here can advise me on whever its possible to buy a spotter from the u.s. and convert to our electrics. With the exchange rate as it is you can get a brand new one for around £200 which is as far as ive seen is half the price of buying one in the UK.
Any comments appreciated

Martin

You will need to get the manufacturer to change the components to 240volt or you could use a 100volt transformer but too much hassle IMO.

Dont forget shipping, duty and of course VAT and what about servicing and spare parts?
