hi guys, ususally i use a small fsc on decking but im quoting a massive area of decking that is like an ice rink when you stand on it, can i use the big whirlaway on it at full bore or would i be best with smaller one with less pressure? could i turn down revs on machine?

Hi,
On dirty decking I always use the Tec Clean fsc and then go over with the small wall cleaner.
All on full power. It can make the timber feather a bit but the finish is very good.

I use the tech clean set up at 2/3 to 3/4 pressure. no probs but have splintered old decking at full power.
just start low and you can always increase it if required.

it would be best if you can use hot water at a lower pressure but if you only have cold then i would sugest treating the area first with a algae remover and then going over with the fsc but using bigger jets this way you will still have the water flow but the pressure wont damage the wood.

the water itself wont do any harm but if you leave the hot pressure hose trailing along a lawn then it can burn the grass.
