Hi Guys - just been to survey a posh tennis club and would like your recommendations regarding pricing for the following:

320 m2 Carpet

44 Dining Chairs - Seats and Backs

41 Restaurant Chairs - Pads only

18 Upholstery seat areas - sofas and booths

8 full length drops of drapes

Steve look at how long it may take you to get the competitive quote you are after.

Hi Steve,

Carpet 320sqm @ £2.20 = £563.20
Dining chairs 44 @ £4.50 each = £158.40
Resturant chairs 41 @ £3.50 each = £114.80
Upholstery seat areas 18 @ £28.00 per seat area = £403.20
PLUS £3.60sqm on the drapes.

I have discounted all the above prices  by 20% due to the amount of work required.  The above work would take 2 days with 1 technician on site.

Nothing against you but, I can't understand why people keep asking for advice on pricing, it's your business, you decide on the price you want from the job, some people will price it very cheap, others will price it outrageously high.

If you ask enough people I'm sure you'll get prices ranging from under £300 to over £3000, therefore what does it achieve? Nothing.

Be confident in your own pricing structure, I'm sure you've cleaned all of these individually in the past and know how to price them up, therefore just multiply it up for the volume here and if you think it necessary offer a job lot discount if it can all be done together.

A good way i price larger jobs is not on size but on how long it will take me.

Ie  I find that if it takes me a day well am happy earning that figure
