have you ever used......?

Done a builders clean today and found some limescale marks on the windows.
The only thing I had in the van was Harpic 100% Limescale remover.(for toilets)
Wiped it over the window, brilliant!
But it also took the cement splashes of with just a wipe over.
So I tried it on the bigger blobs of cement on the sills, squirted it on, spread it over and left it for 10 mins.
All that was left was light scrape and a wipe.
I think it must break down the Lime in the mortar. It really softens it up.
Anyone else ever used it on cement and more importantly, is there a down side to using it on untreated glass. (not pilkington or anything)

i spotted a bottle in the back of another window cleaners van so you're not alone. Lots cheaper than my bottle of mdr £30.00 and over!
