I need a little help please
« on: September 23, 2008, 08:28:03 am »
Hi all

I need a little help on this one.. what I want to do is run 2 hoses off one pump  ::) as you can see I got a 3 way adapter that goes off my pump

But I was not sure if it will work so I brought a cheap 100m hose ( thats the black one  ;D )

the other is Microbore

I dont seem to get the right pressure.. What I need to know is, is it because of using 2 different hoses if so I will get another hose

Thanks

Ideally you need to match the type and length of the hose.

Ideally you need to match the type and length of the hose.

Water will take the easiest route. So thats the larger of the two hoses. Bear in mind some pumps aren't designed to be hooked up with micro bore tubing, so that can also effect flow rates..

I believe if you have just one 100psi pump you can only run two 50 metre hoses. That's what we do. The pressure is never the same as just one hose running off it but it's enough...
